Design-Build Spotlight on Vista Manufacturing, Inc.

Posted by Tony Harman on Sep 21, 2016 10:23:00 AM

Vista Manufacturing, Inc., the premier name in LED lighting products, incandescent lighting products and custom LED panels for more than 35 years, selected J.A. Wagner Construction in 2013 as the contractor for their new company headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana.

Tod E. Tieszen, President of Vista, reached out to J.A. Wagner for assistance in finding and upgrading an existing building in the area that would fit the company’s current needs, as well as to accommodate the manufacturer’s future growth. When those prospects fell through, J.A. Wagner proposed the development of a new site and facility for Vista.

Rather than having to conform to an existing structure, J.A. Wagner could build the exact facility that Vista’s growing business required. “Wagner came along side us and helped us with the design of the building, and even facilitated the purchase of the property with the land owner,” noted Tieszen.

Barry has joined our company as an AutoCAD specialist, preparing and designing the plans for our projects. Our search for the best person to join our team led us to Leesburg, FL, where Barry once drew buildings for our former Central Florida office. His familiarity with Butler Steel Buildings and commitment to excellence in the construction industry was exactly what our company was looking for.

Considering A Construction Project in 2015?

Posted by Andrew Harman on Mar 26, 2015 1:51:41 PM

Spring has come and so has the thaw. It is finally time to get outside and prepare for a great summer of construction. After a long winter, we are breaking ground on several exciting projects…is yours one of them? During the colder months while the ground was frozen, we spent time designing and working with our clients so that their new projects would be ready when Mother Nature surrendered to spring. Some of those projects include new facilities for Global Link and ACC Climate Control as well as an addition for Northwest Interiors.

Did your employees or your products get a little wet this winter? Now is also a great time to evaluate and repair any leaks that popped up over the colder months. Ice buildup on your roof combined with the freeze and thaw in winter can wreak havoc on older screw-down roofing and cause fasteners to pull loose.

Whether it is repairs, an addition or a new building, it’s not too late to have your vision become a reality for 2015. Whether you’re out of room and need to look at your options or are considering that remodel that you just haven’t had time to think about, we are here to help your vision become reality. From concept to completion, J.A. Wagner Construction offers single-source responsibility for your project, ensuring that your focus can remain on your company.

We’d like to wish you a Happy Spring and we hope to hear from you soon with any new projects or plans you may have for your company!
