AACOA’s Major Expansion Project Like Renovating A Moving Train

The expansion at AACOA's Niles, Michigan facility was constructed using Butler pre-engineered metal buildings.

After years of serving commercial and manufacturing businesses throughout the United States, J.A. Wagner Construction still looks forward to new challenges. We like to think that if a client needed us to renovate a moving train, we’d find a way.

Design-Build Spotlight on Vista Manufacturing, Inc.

Posted by Tony Harman on Sep 21, 2016 10:23:00 AM

Vista Manufacturing, Inc., the premier name in LED lighting products, incandescent lighting products and custom LED panels for more than 35 years, selected J.A. Wagner Construction in 2013 as the contractor for their new company headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana.

Tod E. Tieszen, President of Vista, reached out to J.A. Wagner for assistance in finding and upgrading an existing building in the area that would fit the company’s current needs, as well as to accommodate the manufacturer’s future growth. Rather than having to conform to an existing structure, J.A. Wagner could build the exact facility that Vista’s growing business required. “Wagner came along side us and helped us with the design of the building, and even facilitated the purchase of the property with the land owner,” noted Tieszen.
